Thermometers – digital or classic glass: the solid and extremely accurate measuring instruments from Hecht have proven themselves. Hydrometers – also known as hydrometers – use the Archimedean principle to measure the density or specific gravity of a liquid. The hydrometer displaces the liquid and thus sinks into it depending on its density. This simple principle makes it possible to achieve very accurate measurements with little effort. Thanks to the high quality of Hecht’s glass, the hydrometers are easy to clean and their scale always remains clearly legible.

Since the first alcohol-based thermometer was produced in Italy in 1654, there have been many improvements in their manufacture, precision and flexibility. Application locations and possibilities range from the living room table to the sauna to laboratory equipment – it is hard to imagine an environment without the reliable analog thermometer. The more modern version, the digital thermometer, can be used for other purposes, such as recording or predicting temperatures.
